The Other Series

The Other Series was, in part, a reaction to and a result of the skills I acquired as a commercial photo retoucher, in part a reaction to the way history is written, revised and engineered. It was, in part, a meditation on photography and its ostensible depiction of the truth, in part a reflection on the incomplete way we receive information and in part a political project that could address the construction of female archetypes as portrayed by artists throughout the history of painting as an appropriate reflection of the natural order of things.
